The basic idea was to create an interesting case study that will describe our skills, experience and active customer approach on a specific project, on which our company is very proud. The threat of cutting off Europe from gas flowing through pipelines from the East is fueling increased interest in liquefied natural gas, also known as LNG. In addition, it is considered a possible ecological and more cost-effective alternative to diesel. Cryogenic ball valves are used in the storage, distribution and transport of LNG, with the production and testing of which they have great experience in ARMATURY Group. On 10 - 13 May, a successful cryogenic test of the ball valve K92.C NPS 8 Class 300 took place. This ball valve can be one of the components for the production and transportation of liquefied natural gas.

ARMATURY Group produced the first ball valve for "green" hydrogen

The thirtieth of March could be written in bold type in the company history. On this day, the first valve, which was produced for the planned hydrogen operation was dispatched. And it wasn't any valve, but a good piece! The ball valve K92 DN 1400 with its height of 3362 mm and weighs an impressive 27 000 kilograms. The ball valve will perform the function of the main shut-off valve for hydrogen operation.

The acquisition strengthens Vexve Armatury Group’s presence particularly in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Vexve Armatury Group is owned by DevCo Partners, a long-term oriented active owner and development partner dedicated to building world-leading companies in selected niche markets.

Cooperation between VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and ARMATURY Group.

The cooperation between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TU) and ARMATURY Group can be divided into two levels. The first is cooperation in solving research projects of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO TRIO) and the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR TREND) and the second is the assistance and support of ARMATURY Group in the development of the student formula.
