Management appointments in Vexve Armatury Group 

To strengthen its management and implementation of strategy, Vexve Armatury Group has made two new senior appointments. Ingo Leufgen has been appointed Director, Petrochemical and Metallurgy business segments. Sami Leinonen has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer.

Vexve Armatury Group is a leading European supplier of valves for five customer segments: District Energy, Gas, Power, Petrochemical, and Metallurgy. With these new appointments we will further sharpen our commercial focus, leverage our world class operating platform, and enable systematic development of our teams and employees.

Ingo Leufgen has been appointed as Business Segment Director for the Petrochemical and Metallurgy segments. Ingo will also act as co-Managing Director of ZMK technologies GmbH and will be mainly located in Niederzier, Germany. 

Ingo joins us from Neles/Valmet and he has more than 16 years of experience in the valve industry, starting in technical sales, moving into sales management in Germany and neighboring countries as well as service business development. Most recently he has acted as Vice President, Product Center Actuators.

Strengthening Group Operations 

Vexve Armatury Group has a unique operating platform with two factories in Finland, one in the Czech Republic and one in Germany. To fully leverage their capabilities, and to systematically develop our employees, all operations – meaning production, product management, design and sourcing of the Group will be organized into one team.  For this purpose, Sami Leinonen has been appointed as a Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Vexve Armatury Group. Sami will also act as Managing Director of ARMATURY Group a.s. and will be mainly located in Dolni Benesov, Czech Republic.

Sami joined Vexve Armatury Group in 2021 as Business Unit Director of Metallurgy business segment. He has 20 years of leadership experience in production, supply chain, and general management roles in several industries and various European countries.

Other appointments in Vexve Armatury Group’s organization

Rüdiger Klein has been appointed as Technical Director of ZMK technologies GmbH. Rüdiger will act as co-Managing Directors of ZMK with Ingo Leufgen.  

Petr Groh has been appointed Director, Sourcing and Product Management, ARMATURY Group. He will also act as Sourcing Director for the whole Group.

Nick Adcock appointed as non-executive director at Vexve Armatury Group Oy

Starting from September 7, 2022, Mr. Nick Adcock has been appointed to the board of directors of Vexve Armatury Group Oy (“Vexve Armatury Group”, “Group”, “Company”). Mr. Adcock has served as Divisional Managing Director of Trillium Valves & Services (formerly Weir Flow Control) and President of IMI CCI and Bopp & Reuther. He currently works as an independent advisor to the flow control industry. Concurrently with the appointment, Lauri Stadigh will step down from the Company board after having served more than six years as a director.

Vexve Armatury Group has acquired valve distribution company Armatury Group GmbH, which to date has distributed ARMATURY Group valves for power, gas, and metallurgy segments in Austria and Germany. The acquisition strengthens Vexve Armatury Group’s presence particularly in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Vexve Armatury Group is owned by DevCo Partners, a long-term oriented active owner and development partner dedicated to building world-leading companies in selected niche markets.
