Certification

PED 97/23/EC

Industrial valves within the controlled EU sphere are evaluated as products covered by the PED 97/23/EC and the Government Decree 26/2003 Coll. on pressure equipment. The products must further comply with other legislative requirements, technical specifications and standards:

• Government Decree 26/2003 Coll. - technical requirements for pressure equipment as amended
• Government Decree 163/2002 Coll. - technical requirements for construction products as amended
• Act 102/2001 Coll. on general safety of products
• Normative documents (EN 14141, VDI 2440 - Ta-Luft)

While being launched onto the market, our products are evaluated and, where necessary, certified or inspected by an independent accredited body. In our company, the certification, inspection and supervision is conducted by TÜV SÜD Czech s.r.o., Ostrava office (accredited body NB 1017), on the basis of yearly contracts. Products are certified in accordance with an established modular system for conformity evaluation. Once evaluated successfully, our valves obtain European certificates. Products are then subject to regular inspection and retesting. The output of product audit is an Evaluation Report where the notified body confirms continued conformity with requirements of legislation and technical regulations.
All of our own products are issued with a declaration of conformity valid in the EU that confirms conformity with legislation and allows us to use the CE mark of conformity. The acquisition of European product certificates demonstrates to our customers the technical, specialist and organisational sophistication of our company.

EN 729

We hold a welding quality management system certificate according to the EN 729 European standard, which we received from the Ostrava-based Český svářečský ústav (Czech Welding Institute).

API spec. Q1:2008

The certificate allows us to supply ball valves in accordance with requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API), which apply in particular to the oil, petrochemical and gas industries.  Our licence number in the user register of the API monogram is 6D-0614.

TA-LUFT

We hold a certificate for ball valves and slide valves, confirming that our products meet requirements of the German TA-Luft standard on air quality control.

ATEX (Atmosphere Explosive)

We comply with the ATEX 94/9/EC Directive and are allowed to sells products designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

GOST-R

GOST-R export certificates allow us to export our products to the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Belarus. The complete range of our products has been certified by the Moscow-based NASTHOL Certification Centre.  

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping

The certificate allows us to deliver our products, in particular ball valves, high-pressure slide valves and other valves, to the Russian shipbuilding industry, for oil rigs etc. 

Rostechnadzor permit

We hold a permit issued by the Russian State Technical Inspectorate certifying the safe operation of our products.

Certificate OIT - Export certificates for the nuclear energy sector

We handle for products such as high pressure gate valves, gate valves, ball valves and throttling butterfly valves and check valves, which are delivered to the Russian nuclear power plants OIT certificates.
