Environmental protection 

Developed societies are beginning to view environmental protection and sustainable development as one of their fundamental priorities and needs of today. In the European context as well as in domestic companies, growing importance is being attached to a clearly defined environmental policy that introduces systematic and preventive measures for environmental protection.

At ARMATURY Group, we take environmental protection seriously and give consideration to the environmental impacts of our products and services.

In September 2007, we implemented and certified a management system in accordance with the EN ISO 14001:2004 standard - Environmental protection.

The certification was conducted by TÜV CERT Rheinland Group. The existing environmental system adopted at the Kravaře, Dolní Benešov and Hranice plants was approved.  

In this respect, the EMS Policy has become the fundamental document. Representing the company, the Chairman of the Board undertakes in the Policy to minimise the production of various forms of waste and emissions, set objectives, programmes and target values of the environmental system, systematically and continually educate our employees in all aspects of environmental protection, comply with legislation and other binding regulations and to assist the relevant stakeholders (state authorities, members of the public, employers, shareholders or customers) with environmental protection.

The EMS system is subject to ongoing verification in the form of internal audits and regular follow-up audits by TÜV CERT Rheinland Group.
